The process was simple and wonderful. The price was better than I could've imagined. This wine is our take on the Nerello Mascalese from the young vineyards at Piano Dario, on the North-East slope of Mount Etna. There are ninety-eight terraces, surrounded by chestnut and downy oak groves, a typical biodiversity that gives the wines their personality. Soft tannins, good drinkability and freshness. Aged in 60 hl rover barrels for 12 months, an ideal and non-invasive wood for Nerello.
