A wine with juicy fruit, walnut character and a dustiness. Sea salt. Medium to full body, silky tannins. Pretty cabernet with richness and freshness. Drink now.

Bright ruby. Even riper on the nose than the Uco Valley example, showing more bitter chocolate and spicecake than black raspberry in the early going. Very dense but with a suaver mouthfeel than the Uco Valley Malbec: less glyceral and more refined. More classic youthful Malbec flavors of blackberry, licorice, menthol and herbs. Longer on the finish too, conveying less-exaggerated ripeness even if the label states the same 14.7% alcohol. The spicecake note repeats on the very long finish of this powerful wine.

A rich and lusciously spiced red, with dark cherry, dried blackberry and roasted plum flavors, accented by dark chocolate notes. Creamy midpalate, featuring a finish loaded with Asian spice and peppery details. Drink now through 2021. 1,500 cases imported.

Dense mossy aromas of blackberry are slightly murky. Forget about delicacy on the palate, this is full-bodied and clattering. Blackberry, cassis, black cherry and chocolate flavors finish spicy. This is at maximum ripeness. Drink through 2022.
