Aromas of currants, flowers and blackberries. Walnut undertones. Full body and chewy tannins. Love the chocolate and berry aftertaste. Needs time to soften. Better in 2020.

From their source on Spring Mountain they are getting some great Cabernet fruit, as evidenced by the following two vintages. The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Spring Mountain has beautiful black raspberry and blueberry fruit, and hints of licorice, tobacco leaf and underbrush. It is ripe, textured, full-bodied, pure and deep. Drink it over the next 12-15 years.
