Marco Marengo's 2013 Barolo sees fruit sourced from four vineyards located in the La Morra township. These are Serradenari, Fossati, Boiolo and Roncaglie. Fruit is harvested, fermented separately and assembled later in order to preserve the subtle characteristics of each site. This vintage stands apart for the bright exuberance of the fruit and the noble qualities of the tannins. That characteristic firm silkiness that you get with fruit from La Morra is put proudly front and center.

An elegant, perfumed style, boasting cherry, floral, tobacco and mineral aromas and flavors. Intense and long, with excellent balance, refinement and detail on the stony finish. Best from 2021 through 2035. 250 cases made.

Beautiful aromas of orange peel and plums follow through to a medium body, firm tannins and a bright and clean finish. Vivid and energetic. Try in 2020.
