Graphite and spice notes lace the creamed white cherry and strawberry fruit flavors of this firm and finely meshed rosé. Lacy in texture, with a minerally underpinning and accents of herb and anise on the lasting finish. Disgorged February 2018. Drink now through 2029.

While this Champagne is still young, it has the makings of a wine that will age. Rich fruit is balanced by acidity and the relatively low dosage to give freshness and texture. It will be best from 2022.

A wine with energy and grace, this shows the power of meunier in 2012. Pinot meunier makes up 23 percent of the blend, and its wild strawberry brightness is apparent in the flavors. Pinot noir provides 42 percent, and chardonnay, 35 percent. The finish darkens to black raspberry, emboldened by 13 percent red wine in the blend, the flavors lasting with a purity and freshness that should carry the wine as it ages. Richly saturated, this is a clean Champagne with drive. (Disgorged 2/18)

Like the Blanc, the 2012 Grand Vintage Rosé is tightly wound and reticent. Bright red cherry, cranberry, rose petal, cedar, flowers, mint and crushed rocks are all laced together in this finely sculpted Champagne. Readers should be prepared to cellar the 2012 for at least a few years, as it is nowhere near ready to drink. The blend is 42% Pinot Noir (of which 13% is still red Pinot), 35% Chardonnay and 23% Meunier.

A fruity and earth rosé with sliced cooked strawberries and fruit tea. Full body. More like a light red. Flavorful finish. Drink now.
