An immensely young, this is a very concentrated wine bursting with spice and aromatic white fruits. There is a sense of unleashed power as well as great fruitiness that is still developing. It's a great wine with a great future over 5–7 years and more. Screwcap.

Even in the friendly 2011 vintage Hirsch’s wines need time; this one took six days to come around. It’s worth the wait: What begins as a bland sesame richness blossomed into tropical fruit tones, while the acidity weaves its way through to reveal a mineral clarity that shines like a beam of light. It’s fabulously structured for 2011, a wine that ought to age well for another decade or more.
