Aromas of blackberries, wild mushrooms and tobacco. Full body, fine tannins and a fresh finish. A red with finesse and length. Cabernet sauvignon and merlot. Better in 2017.

The 2011 Finis Terrae has a classical nose of pencil shavings, graphite, aromatic herbs and blackberries. It's a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot aged in new French barriques for 22 months, which is not really that noticeable. The palate is medium to full-bodied with abundant, slightly grainy tannins, good acidity and freshness. This is my favorite Cousiño today. 56,700 bottles produced.

Deep ruby. Bright and energetic on the nose, offering aromas of fresh cherry, blackcurrant and peppery spices. Firm and focused on entry, with a juicy quality to its red and dark berry and spicecake flavors. A smoky nuance emerges with aeration and carries through the smooth, gently tannic finish, which shows very good clarity and persistence. This graceful wine is approachable now but also has the balance to age.
