Medium red. High-pitched aromas of cherry, rose petal, licorice and herbs, along with a whiff of leather. Dense, smooth and penetrating, with lovely floral energy and lift, not to mention sneaky sweetness, to the red cherry flavor. Finishes with a firm tannic backbone and a sappy quality, spreading out nicely on the aftertaste. Built to age, and not for drinking now.

This has good acidity, offsetting sweet, ripe cherry, raspberry and tobacco flavors. Fresh and concentrated, with fine balance and a finish of cherry, spice and earth. Best from 2016 through 2033. 500 cases imported.
