A densely fruited nose offers up aromas of raspberry, red pinot and an upper register hint of cranberry that precedes the fresh, rich and nicely concentrated medium-bodied flavors that possess lovely pure of expression as well as solid depth and length. There is a lovely underlying sense of harmony and overall, this is quite pretty.

89-91 points, Allen Meadows' Burghound (Jan 2009)

Saturated deep red. Musky cherry aroma with a candied aspect. Fat, supple and sweet, with good intensity to the flavors of cherry, iron and brown spices. Offers good palate coverage and length and finishes with ripe, dusty tannins.

88-90 points, Stephen Tanzer's Int'l Wine Cellar (Mar/Apr 2009)
