With just the right amount of toasty age, this is gorgeous. Its strawberry note is woven into its rich texture, with a flavor of fresh croissant and a final burst of acidity. It could age, but why wait?

Delicate acidity and subtle flavors of black cherry, plum, black licorice and spice are well-meshed with the fine texture and creamy minerality of this elegant rosé, which has a smoky finish. Drink now through 2020. 2,000 cases imported.

Light, bright orange. Vibrant, mineral-accented red berry and orange zest aromas are complicated by anise, smoky minerals and white pepper. Spicy and focused on entry, then fleshier in the mid-palate, offering juicy red berry and blood orange flavors and a touch of buttered toast. Finishes with good spicy cut and cling, leaving a bitter berry skin note behind. Eight percent of this blend is still red wine from the grand crus Avize and Ay. L3011001133.
