50% Roussanne, 20% Clairette blanc, 30% Grenache blanc
There is no guarantee that you will go nuts over this wine but I will tell you, it has not been since the mid to early 80's that I have tasted "old school" whites from the Rhone like this; enormous wines with 40-weight viscosity, rich and ripe tropical mélange mixed with honey and nuts…wow. This is the type of wine that made the "Rhone" break-out famous and its wine prices soar. Ancient vines here in the phenomenal 2007 vintage. If you haven't tried wines from the Rhone lately, you need to take a serious look very soon at these 2007's. 92 Points, Robert A. Sprentall, B-21
