The NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Cuvee des Chevaliers is a beautiful Champagne laced with all sorts of dried apricots, flowers, sweet baking spices, autumn leaves, roasted nuts, light caramel and orange peel. Voluptuous and creamy on the palate, this medium to full-bodied Champagne delivers incredible complexity and personality for the money. It is gorgeous juice. Initially bottled in 1988, but only disgorged in July, 2008, this release of the Cuvee des Chevaliers is without question the finest value in aged Champagne I have come across in a long time. Disgorged July, 2008. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2015. 91 Points, Antonio Galloni for The Wine Advocate (Dec 2010)
