The Russian Cuvee is an offering that was created for the Reagan / Gorbachev summit meetings held decades ago. The 2008 rendition is a blend of 72% Pinot Noir and 28% Chardonnay aged four years on its lees. It offers attractive aromas, medium-bodied flavors, and a tart personality. While it is well-made, it does not appear to possess the character of some of its siblings.
